Welcome to Chrome Kitty

Some may call me passionate,    impulsive, spontaneous, a professional daydreamer...but I follow my heart and keep everyone - even myself - guessing.

Chrome Kitty is the name of my bike, it's my passion and it's dedicated to the female motorcycle enthusiast.  Whether she rides her own kitty, rides on the back or simply appreciates the beauty from afar, this site was created for her because she feels "IT".

Chrome Kitty is the result of being motivated to learn how to ride my own ride, inspired by the places I have had the great fortune to travel to, by the biker events I have had the incredible opportunity to participate in and most importantly by the people I have watched, met (Kevin Costner signed my chest, Sturgis 2004!) and gotten to know along the way. Based just outside of Chicago, IL, I look forward to seeing you at a motorcycle event soon.  I'm very excited about the debut of Chrome Kitty's line of apparel and accessories with a girly biker edge.

People often ask me, "Why do you ride that thing?" My mind races... Is it the feeling of elation while running up through the gears; the shear joy of leaning into a curve? Or is it the sunshine and wind?  How about the immediate temperature changes when riding near water or in the shade of a forest preserve, or when the sun is hidden by a white fluffy cloud?  How about the guy in the car or on the sidewalk that stares at me as I drive by and I just know he is wishing it was him on the bike, as I flash my wicked smile? Is it a combination of all of these things? What is IT? These are the thoughts that run through my mind before I simply smile and reply, "If you have to ask, then you wouldn't understand." 

So the next time you straddle that awe-inspiring Chrome Kitty, take a moment to listen to that engine purrrr and feel it for yourself. I guarantee all your senses will wonder if they just won the lottery.  Why do YOU ride?
